Wanted a cordless jigsaw for ages and since getting this one, annoyed that I didn't do it sooner! I love it! Lots of features, guides, light, mitre cuts etc etc. Bear in mind I am very much a beginner diy'er and for me, it does everything I need it too and a bit more. Very pleased with my purchase!

Like all the Bosch range I have, this is a handy and agile jigsaw. Having several batteries for different tools this, like them can be used in isolated areas without the need for a power supply. The ease of use with the responsive trigger can be utilised for the most delicate or robust assignments. I would most definitely recommend you add it to your collection.

Straight out of box and ripped a pallet to bits so plenty powerful enough, the variable speed is built in to the trigger so it needs a squeeze action rather than a sudden pull. The various guides and guards make sighting the blade difficult even with the inbuilt light so your markings need a high level of contrast to the material being cut. Really nice to be free from the extension lead, so liberating.

As I already have 18v battery powered Bosch tools, it made sense to stick with the brand. I was not disappointed. Having struggled with a cheap jigsaw, the Bosch jigsaw was a revalation. It is quiet, smooth in operation and the blade follows the precise line you wish to follow, whether a curve or a straight line. My first task was to cut square holes in 18mm ply lining in a narrowboat. This it completed with ease. Similarly, it produced excellent results cutting thin ply for decorative shelving. My only criticism was that there was no option to purchase a carrying case, but as I have an old one I was able to adapt, this was not an issue for me.
