Easy to use and a great help pointing my son,s new patio. A shame the diameter of the filling scoop is greater than the diameter of the cartridge tube. One tip, always empty the nozzle at each filling. Apart from that a great buy and well worth the money. Saved hours of time, and my wife's knees as she did all the pointing!!!!! no excuses now girls.

Good value and reliable. I previously had a cheaper version which clogged up all the time and then broke. This is much much better

I bought this because i needed to re-point some walls. Not having had much experience of re-pointing i checked out you-tube and this grouting gun seemed to be the simple solution to what could be a lengthy and laborious task... It was. Easy to use, effective and labour saving. The only problem i had was when some of the mortar mix jammed in the nozzle due to it being a little dry when i had to strip it down to clear the blockage. The major bug-bear was cleaning the the gun after use. Trying to clean the inside of the tube was difficult.

So much easier than using a float & trowel, especially on verticals. i used bog standard pointing mortar with a splash of plasticiser in the mix and it worked a treat. my only reservation is that the filling scoop is slightly wider than the gun barrel, so filling can be a bit messy if you are as cack handed as me. Otherwise a decent sturdy bit of kit.
